The EKU Marching Colonels care immensely about the health and well-being of its members. We are one of five collegiate marching bands in the country that employs a certified Athletic Trainer exclusive to the band and School of Music. Above are several documents prepared to help incoming members take care of themselves and stay healthy as they transition to living on their own. 

Participation in any marching band is a sport, and the conditions and activities marching members are on par with collegiate athletes. For this, we ask that members complete a health questionaire and have a physical prior to participation. A student may bring proof of a physical from their home physician, or one will be provided free of charge at EKU Health services during band camp.
